BMPS Takshila School is set in the heart of IRC Village in a quiet hamlet off the beaten track. The sparkling school building in orange and white stands for the spirit of giving and the clarity of knowledge that is imparted to its pedagogues. Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, our School came into existence in 2010 and has come to be a name to reckon with.
BMPS Takshila owes its name to India’s ancient seat of learning – Takshyashila. Among the other abodes of learning like Nalanda, Vikramashila, Vallavi, etc. Takshyashila occupied a unique place. When BMPS Takshila was conceptualized, it was done with those noble academic goals that our ancient educational hubs characterized.
