BMPS Takshila School is set in the heart of IRC Village in a quiet hamlet off the beaten track. The sparkling school building in orange and white stands for the spirit of giving and the clarity of knowledge that is imparted to its pedagogues.Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, our School came into existence in 2010 and has come to be a name to reckon with.
The focal point of all activities in the school is the holistic growth of our students that includes academic excellence, confidence and excellent communication skills.
Committed to providing holistic development of the child, BMPS Takshila School follows the EDAC – Learning System as well as the concept of the flipped classroom. Going beyond the commonly practiced rote learning curriculum, the EDAC – Learning System approach helps the learner to internalize knowledge and enhances both logical and creative thinking. The term flipped classroom has become a hot topic in higher education.
The most widely used description of the flipped class is a learning environment in which the activities traditionally completed outside of class as homework are now completed in class during instruction time. And, the activities traditionally completed in class are now completed on students’ own time before class, reducing stress in both our children as well as our parents who are able to spend quality time with their wards instead of fretting over incomplete H.W.
As part of our continuing Value Education program we have affiliated ourselves to the cause of education of the Girl Child. Philanthropy for us is not just a word but a way of life. Conducting paper drives, slum visits, celebrating the Joy of Giving Week, working for flood relief, conducting classes for the uneducated, regular Blood Donation camps involving parents and other community members, etc. are activities that are regularly undertaken in order to sensitize our children.
In order to inculcate a strong sense of Indian Culture, a variety of celebrations abound throughout the year. Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Republic Day, Utkal Divas and other festivals in the Indian calendar are but a few anticipated days in our school calendar.
Change they say is the only constant. We at BMPS Takshila School accept change as a way of life. And we are very privileged to have with us a talented and dynamic work force ever ready to help the pedagogues entrusted to our care to be the change that our world so desperately needs. We are also blessed with a set of dedicated and affectionate parents who are ever supportive of our every venture. It is finally through their cooperation and support that we at BMPS Takshila School find the strength to define Impossible as “I Am Possible”.
